We are Nicky (28 yrs. old) and Dave Cane (55+ yrs. old), father and daughter. And live on the Gold Coast in Australia.
Nicky is the Principle of our Online Business Consultancy. She is a very experienced Online Business Consultant. Having been mentored and coached by the worlds best.

Dave has been an online business consultant since 2000. Nicky joined the team in 2007. We haven’t always been successful…. And we’ll be sharing a few things that are key. If you want a faster and easier path to online success.
Dave has tried just about everything type of business model since finishing his apprenticeship as an Auto Electrician in 1980. From traditional, B2B and online businesses to MLMs.
We learnt 3 big secrets to being a success online – the easy way…
These are our AHA! moments when we realised…..
The FIRST Aha! was …. that every product I sold online or website I built, was a once off money making exercise….. It was linear… it wasn’t easily scale-able.
The SECOND Aha! was … that we didn’t have systems in place to leverage our time….. we did all the sales, all the follow ups, all the invoicing, as well as we had to do all the customer support.
The Other AHA was… having a coach or mentor was invaluable. Someone that had done it previously and knew what worked best and what to avoid. This would have saved us a lot of time, money and headaches in the early days.

Just recently we both have overcome huge life threatening, medical obstacles, it was a case of learning to walk again… now we are both well, a bigger smilie face
Our Story – Our Why…
Why did we go from being in a Traditional Businesses to an Online Business, with leverage?
Well… there was the stress.
Only getting paid ONCE by the hour or ONCE for the completed project.
Then there were all those long days, that would occur, all too often.
It was that straw that broke the camels back… on the 28th October 2015.
Nicky got diagnosed with Cancer and for the next 18 or so months went through ongoing surgeries, and a variety of treatments, on top of learning to walk again. So that meant becoming dependent on the family.
Nicky thought before this:
If you work hard, you get paid, so you always have lots of money.
The problem: getting sick.
Dave went from building up a very stressful auto repair business. Selling it to start and run a web design business. At the end of the day, it was just a job, however it did give some flexibility. The income was linear… when he wasn’t working he wasn’t getting paid.
Lucky the penny dropped…. and Dave moved more toward income generation that involved leveraging systems and other peoples time and skills. Both with online businesses and Real Estate.
It would have been much worse if Dave didn’t make that transition.
As Dave was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease in 2009 and has had many surgeries. Which was a cycle of being in and out of hospital for another 8 years.
So if we relied only on a linear income, like we used to when we weren’t working we wouldn’t be making an income.
We know for a fact and you probably do to… That the old way doesn’t work in the new economy..
- “Study Hard in School.” – OK!
- “Get Job Security.” – OK!
- “Work hard and save money.” – OK!
We now understand and use;
- Leverage in what we do, leveraging system and other peoples time and skills.
- How much Control we have in a business and the product and client base.
- ROI of the product and the business. Return on your investment… Most people forget that Investment is BOTH your Time and Money!

It would not be possible to know and understand what we now know if it wasn’t for two things;

Hobbies and Interests
While Travel and weekends away are very enjoyable we love to just have a nice day out with family to the river or beach for a picnic. Nicky enjoys learning about history and trying different art pursuits.
Dave’s main passion is Property Developments adding value to property. That is why in 2017 Nicky became the main go to for Online Business Consultancy. Dave as the Company Director is still very much involved as he enjoys seeing people achieve their dreams and live a fuller life.
Dave is also a huge fan of going to or watching motor racing mainly SuperCars and Formula One.
We have achieved our dream lifestyle’s and we now spend more time with our family and we work from anywhere in the world, as long as we have an internet connection. Traveling was a distant dream. That was then…
Now those far away places we dreamt of visiting, are now within our reach.
