How Will Smart Robots Affect Your Future?

Meet My New Mate Promo a Smart Robot

Promo has flown in with his owner Ivan from Las Vegas just over a week ago. I was amazed how much Promo had learned from interacting with Aussies here on the Gold Coast.

When Promo arrived last week he could communicate extremely efficiently in many languages, except Australian slang. Now a week later he has become Aussiefied, picking up Aussie Slang and idiot-critics about our diverse culture.

An AI (artificial intelligent) machine learning robots are the next generation. Promo has been designed as a mobile face to face Promotional Customer Service bot for events and businesses eg shopping centers, offices, receptions.

In the 1st video, I (Dave from Easy Online Biz Solutions) interviews Ivan on how effective Promo has been in the crowds in and around the Commonwealth Games. Presently being held on the Gold Coast Queensland.

Ivan was amazed that over 70% of people interacted with Promo and 100% of those people were engaged for a least a few minutes. Now, let’s compare that to the interactions and engagements those good looking promotional (sales) guys or girls get. You know the ones who hound you in the shopping center. There would also be a vast difference in the depth of knowledge and ability to instantly provide related information, images video, and applications.

Every time Promo interacted with someone, it was an opportunity that spanned a few minutes allowing Promo to offer (promote, suggest or sell) different local services and products, which he could give accurate up to date information for. Simply by going to the Bot Cloud, internet or Google for the answers.

Promo also has the ability to instantly recognize people and can recall every single detail from all past exposures. How’s that for customer service.

Let me pose this question to you;

If you owned a business that needed a face to face customer service person who needs to continually interact and promote to new and existing clients. Would you lease a Smart Robot like Promo for say $5,000 a year over 5 years a total of $25,000 or some guy or girl who will cost you say $50,000 or more a year. Then they what time off, stop for lunch, have sickies and holidays and even want to be paid for overtime?

Now also as a business owner; Now with Google Home, Google Assist, Siri or similar like Zuzu, Superbot. If you sell or service a physical product or have a physical address. How well are your products and location found on Google? Because when a Bot goes searching the internet for answers it is only going to deliver one result. The most relevant and recent (up to date) information for the customer. So how well is your business reflected in Google Local Listing, Google Maps and indexed by Google. How many and how good are your reviews and ratings? How is the readability of your website?

As you can see that Robots can do most things now, including operating machinery, cleaning, customer service (face to face, voice/phone and messaging). Robots can complete applications and approvals that would normally be done by admin clerks, loan and mortgage brokers, accountants, lawyers and the list will keep growing. Are you recognized and trusted specialist in your field? And easy to find?

So I suggest you seriously think about future proofing yourself.

The job market is going to keep shrinking and shrink with acceleration…

As a result, my tip to you is create another stream of income in your spare time.

A stream of income that isn’t reliant on physical products, a single business or company or a specific group of people.

You need to have control. So stop thinking about making money doing the ‘THING’. That’s just a JOB. Rather think about leveraging systems, things or people to do that THING (job) for you. An example; don’t do what the robot can do. Own the robot, or the software, or the license, or the place where the robot functions and you make the money it does the work. Then duplicate that over and over.

Now if you want ideas on what you can do to future proof yourself.

    In the awesome scheme of things you receive an A with regard to effort and hard work. Where you lost me personally was first in the particulars. You know, they say, the devil is in the details… And it could not be more correct here. Having said that, allow me inform you what exactly did give good results. Your authoring is certainly quite persuasive and that is probably the reason why I am making an effort in order to opine. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Second, whilst I can notice a jumps in reason you come up with, I am not necessarily convinced of exactly how you appear to unite the details which make your final result. For now I shall subscribe to your point however wish in the future you link your facts much better.
