To Be Successful…
You need to make the commitment and then take action.
The action needs to be planned and focused. You will get more done if you don’t chop and change.

You need to focus on one type of strategy, within your business plan.

“If you do what others won’t, you’ll have what others don’t.”

It’s a simple but incredibly powerful notion if you’re willing to go beyond the limits your peers build predecessors set, your success will exceed theirs.

It’s how we’ve thought about building my brick and mortar businesses, as well as our Online Businesses. Hands down, it’s worked.

Grant Cardone’s The 10x Rule: The Only Difference Between Success and Failure book goes deep into taking massive action is the only way to fulfill your true potential. That’s done by pushing beyond what others are doing, saying and thinking if you want to drive massive action that outpaces even their greatest successes.

The 10X Rule Animated Book Summary

The 10x Rule is simple as it is complex. Grant explains, most people live in one of three buckets:

  • Action-No Action
  • Retreat or
  • Normal Action

If you want MORE, you can’t settle for the ordinary. You need to get to that fourth level of action—that’s the 10x Rule. And if you achieve it, you’ve all but guaranteed yourself success today and tomorrow.

All of this hinges on the notion of “Massive Action” which can help anyone push through challenges and risk aversion and move closer and closer to achieving your dreams. Whatever those dreams may entail.

Grant walks through exactly what to do, how to get started and how to keep going. Literally, all you have to do is follow the steps he’s outlined and you’ll be well- positioned for success. It couldn’t be easier.

In the book, Grant Cardone covers how we underestimate what we can achieve as humans and often shoot for goals that are mediocre. The 10X Rule says to take what you think you want and multiply that by 10.

Now how much time is that going to take?

Multiply that by ten too. No matter how much time and effort you think something will take it’s going to take a lot more, if you guess 10 times more you will likely be safe. Plan for that.

If you feel fear, you should act, don’t let your fear take over what you do.

Grant Cardone is a salesman. So when he feels fear he picks up the phone and dials, instead of figuring out what he’s going to say and how he’s going to react, he can get through 20-30 calls by just acting without thinking. When that happens – eventually fear completely subsides or becomes minimized.

Also the book also goes into a few mantras for achieving success. These mantras are: success is important, success is your duty, and there is no shortage of success.

If success is something you are interested in then you definitely need to take this books advice and plan to achieve a ton of it so as you aren’t going to be left behind.

Throughout the book, you’ll discover some of Grant’s most compelling secrets. These concepts have fueled his own achievements and continue to drive his brand forward.

If you would like to get more great insights from Grant Cardone – Read his book; The 10x Rule: The Only Difference Between Success and Failure.

So as you go about your day, keep in mind: “You’ll find everything you need to make success a way of life. And once you do, there’s nothing you can’t achieve.”

Humans have a destructive tendency to overcomplicate things. Building a business is no different.

The essence of a successful business is incredibly simple. As Paul Graham says, “you have to build something people want.” Expanded just a little, you have to create something that solves a problem or addresses a desire for people in a way they’re willing to pay for.

Simple, right? Simple but not easy.

Building a business isn’t easy by any means, but entrepreneurs often have themselves to blame for much of what makes building a business so hard. For example, it’s suddenly not good enough to grow an email list. Now, we’re told we have to segment our email list and customize what we send to each subscriber. Thus, turning what’s already a huge effort into a huge effort times two.

It’s not good enough to pick one social platform and do it well. We’re told we have to be everywhere all the time. It’s not good enough to create one solid product and grow it. We’re also told we have to create up-sells and cross-sells and down-sells and tripwires.

Record Your Personal BestThe no. 1 problem we hear entrepreneurs complain about is not having enough time.

Who could possibly have the time to do all of the above?

Don’t count the gurus and A-listers who told you to do all this in the first place; they have huge teams, elaborate processes, workaholic tendencies, and an incentive to tell you about the newest shiny thing.

It’s just not realistic for a solo entrepreneur, let alone one with a day job or, god forbid, a family or a full busy life. Likewise, we tend to overcomplicate success itself. Surely, it can’t be that simple. Once we find something that works, we have to move on to the next channel, the next product, the next technology, don’t we?

That’s how you grow a business, right?

This is where most of us get stuck. We experience a modicum of success, then start looking for something that can take us to the next level–when that thing might be right under our noses.

Your-Dream-Business-Automated-Done-for-you-300-sqHere’s the boring reality of growing a business: Sometimes, success is about doing what works, then doing that thing again, and again and again, Over and over and over. Maybe you’ve heard the saying, “What got you here won’t get you there,” before?

Well, what gets you to initial success is an intense process of trial-and-error, searching and experimenting. But maybe, this isn’t what will get you there. Once you’ve found what works, maybe your job is to perfect that thing before you branch out and optimize. Building a business is hard enough without giving in to the temptation to overcomplicate things.

Instead, do what works, then do it again and again and again. Then enjoy the results as you move closer and closer to achieving the success you want in life.

Don’t we all want to grow into the fullest and most authentic versions of ourselves?

When it comes to creating a successful life the place to start is with ourselves. As Shakespeare wrote, “To thine own self be true.”

Success in life can mean different things for different people.

But one thing that’s common to most people’s definition is the ability to be true to ourselves no matter what is going on around us. But in fact it’s impossible to be true to yourself if you don’t know what’s really important to you.

Sometimes when we create a BIG picture of how we want our life to be, we forget about the SMALL details that get us there. To avoid this pitfall it’s good to check in with yourself on a regular basis.

There’s 10 questions to help you stay true to yourself while your creating the big picture of your life. Read on and discover a daily practice to help you really get to know yourself!

Know Yourself: Ask These 10 Questions…

1. Am I Happy in this Moment?

Anytime is a great time to ask this question, because added up each moment becomes your life! Check in with this question as often as you can remember.

If the answer is YES, celebrate!

But if the answer is no, find something that will make you happier in that moment.

2. Is there Anything I Can Improve About Myself that Would Enhance My life?

This is a tough question to answer. Recognizing that something about yourself needs to improve may even bring up fear, sadness or regret.

But taking the time every once in awhile to do an honest self-inventory of your habitual behaviors and choices, allows you to identify areas for improvement and lets you make conscious choices that will bring more happiness into your life.

Try not to beat yourself up if you find things you would like to change.

Get clear about how you want to be instead and what needs to change to get there. The very act of creating the intention to change will move any fear, sadness or regret right out of your life.

3. What Do I Believe is Possible for My Life?

It’s been said that we can only have what we believe is possible.

You may discover that you don’t believe what you want is actually possible for you. Honestly answering this question can give you incredible insights into what may be in your way of getting what you want.

It’s also been said that a belief is simply something we often repeat to ourselves. Find a different belief that is more like what you want to have and then look for reasons why this is true.

Then make it a habit to repeat this belief more frequently than the one that is standing in your way.

4. Am I Comfortable with the Direction My Life is Headed?Choose Your Path - The Right vs Wrong Decision SQ

Change is the only constant in life. Our lives are constantly shifting and changing, so it’s important to check in from time to time and see if the direction you’re headed is still getting you to where you want to end up.

Asking this question frequently ensures that small adjustments can be made, instead of allowing much time to pass and then realizing that you’re in need of a major course correction.

5. What Do I Want More Than Anything Else?

Yes, this question might seem overly simple, but how many times do you actually stop and ask yourself this question and then really listen to your answer.

You might find that each time you ask this question a completely different answer occurs to you.

So, start asking. Stop and truly listen to your answer, and then identify small step towards getting it. You are worth it.

6. What Motivates Me?

Motivation is the fuel that powers our actions, our actions are what create the results we experience in life. To answer the question, what motivates me, take a look at your life.

When you accomplish something, identify what it was that motivated you to complete it. Watch when you get excited, what are you feeling excited about, that’s motivation.

You can also learn by discovering what your motives more when you didn’t take the actions that you said you would. If you set a goal, and then fail to achieve it, look at how you spent your time instead.

Identifying these motivations can be just as important as your ability to be true to yourself.

When you discover what truly motivates you, you are well on your way to creating a life you love.

7. What Do I Value Most?

Your values are the essence of who you are.

Getting clear about them what they are and then living in harmony with them is a guaranteed way to be the fullest expression of YOU!

Couple in Love Forgives Each Other

8. What Kinds of Experiences are Most Important to Me?

You have to know what you want to experience to really go for it! Make a list of what’s important in each area of your life- family, intimacy, spirituality, community, profession, etc.

Spend some time each week focusing on ways you can experience more of what you want in these different areas.

9. What do I Appreciate Most about Myself?

This question is essential for creating a life you love. It’s very challenging to love your life if you can’t identify anything you appreciate about yourself.

Make a habit to notice and then celebrate success in your life, whether it’s accomplishing a goal or behaving in ways that are in harmony with your values.

Appreciation for who you are is an essential ingredient for appreciating your life.

10. What am I Grateful for?

Appreciating what you have in your life is just as important as appreciating yourself if you want to experience your life as successful. In fact, an attitude of gratitude is the most powerful force we knew of her bringing more of what we want into our lives.

If you want to live your fullest life, if you want to be happier in any moment, ask this question of yourself every day. When you’re in the process of being grateful you can’t help but feel good.

The more you are grateful for what you have, the more you will have to be grateful for.

They might be simple questions, but they can create profound results.

You are the only one that truly holds the key to achieving success in your own life. Make it a practice to ask the questions. Make a commitment to continue asking and answering them–and then acting on your answers.

The best way we found to do this is to write down what occurs to you whenever you spend time asking yourself these questions. Fixing your answers on the page helps you embed them in your consciousness.

Seeing them in print helps overcome any fear about the changes you want to make and adds excitement to achieving your goal of knowing yourself. After each answer, write down any actions you want to take that will help you experience success in that area.

These may seem like simple questions, but knowing your answers to them can create profound results in your life. Ask them, listen to your answers, and take action to bring on the successful life you want.

Then enjoy the results as you move closer and closer to achieving the success you want in life. We bet that along the way you’ll love the practice of being true to yourself!

As Entrepreneurs, we share the desire to create freedom in our “work” and “life” through Entrepreneurship. We live in the Golden Age of Entrepreneurs. Right now, there are more and more opportunities available so we can fulfill our dreams.

Still, there are some Entrepreneurs reading this that are stuck in their business and their life. You know who you are. You can’t figure out why you’re not making progress or what to do next in your business.

The “missing link” could be the type of Entrepreneur you are. Understanding your motivation as an Entrepreneur can be the key to growing your business and reaching whatever milestone of success you’re striving to achieve.

What Entrepreneur Type Are You?
Check out the 5 Types to decide for Yourself!

1. The Skeptical Entrepreneur

Let’s get the worst type of Entrepreneur out of the way first. Those that are skeptical see others succeed and immediately start questioning every little thing. They examine that person’s business and looks for the “lucky” breaks or even the inheritance they think that those successful entrepreneurs received.

The Skeptical Entrepreneur

Maybe it’s the news or previous life experiences, but they are skeptical of success and don’t believe it’s possible without all the stars falling into place.

When you can’t see or believe success is possible, you’ll never get to a place in your mind that allows you to take action. Once stuck; you’ll make every excuse and believe it because of your skeptical mindset.
Once stuck that’s how you stay!

2. The Copycat Entrepreneur

This Entrepreneur sees the success of others and tries to copy them exactly. This means that their website and business cards are the same. Also how the way they brand and present themselves is the carbon copy of a leader in their industry.Copycat Entrepreneur

There is nothing wrong with modeling success—it’s actually very smart.

There is a fine line, however, between modeling and copying. Modeling success means you see what works and figure out how to make it relevant to your business, and who you are as a person. If you’re currently copying, then it’s time to be honest with yourself and switch to modeling.

3. The Research Entrepreneur

This Entrepreneur researches every possible scenario and outcome for strategies to start or grow a business. As this person loves to learn. There is nothing wrong with learning, but when that’s all you do, it becomes a problem.Research Niche

Too many Entrepreneurs fall victim to information overload. The key to success is learning and then implementing. The implementing has to happen.

4. The Determined Entrepreneur

This Entrepreneur hasn’t “made it” but they will, no matter what. They see the value in entrepreneurship, they see that success is possible without copying, and they do everything they can to start or grow their business.

Starting and growing a business is hard, and it takes time, but there is proof that it’s possible to thrive.

You too could achieve real success. To get there, you need to change your mindset from focusing on what too many people consider “reality” to what you know your reality can be.

Keep in mind that “Life is a journey, not a destination.”

5. The Accomplished Entrepreneur

This Entrepreneur has gone through all the stages of entrepreneurship and building a business, and has reached success. They are now focused on scaling their business and leaving a legacy that extends beyond their lifetime.

These accomplished Entrepreneurs has figured out the things that will help you reach success. They understand their time is their most valuable resource so they use it wisely.

These people have figured out how to connect with their customer and how to solve their biggest problems. They are experiencing true freedom, but don’t believe they “make it”. As there is another frontier to explore and always more to achieve.

What Type of Entrepreneur are you?

Get honest about which one you are and which one you want to be. Face the truth and make a change if it needs to be made. Success will be different for each of us, but if you’re stuck, it could be because you’re not the type of Entrepreneur you should and want to be.

Success takes time. Decide what you want from your business and how that fits into your life.

For those Entrepreneurs reading this that are stuck in their business and their life. You know who you are.

We gained the knowledge of the Power of Consistency from The Power of Consistency: Prosperity Mindset Training for Sales and Business Professionals by Weldon Long.

“Success ultimately comes down to how well and how often we do the little things. It’s not about doing one great action every now and then. It’s all about doing the small things on a consistent basis. Do the little things well, and the big things will happen.”

This is the Power of Consistency.
