Time management is about making the most effective use of your time and working smarter, not harder. It requires planning, and then sticking to the plan.Which in turn requires discipline day in and day out.

Thomas A. Edison once said “Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing.”

According to the Pareto principle or 80/20 rule, 80 per cent of results come from 20 per cent of effort. That means that of all the things you do, 20 per cent is vital and 80 per cent doesn’t contribute much.
